lurcher330 2,297
I have a mirror in it and boiled chicken in each trap compartment but i'm releasing starlings from it about 3 times a day,i reckon i would get one in if it wasn't for the starling knocking it off Quote Link to post
Beastmaster1980 40
If starlings are setting the trap off try using a thicker perch, square rather than round dowl, I had the same problem with blackbirds but changed the perch & they are not heavy enough to set it off but magpies can. I use a decoy magpie or eggs seems to work, one you've got a call bird it's easy 1 Quote Link to post
