timmy k 591 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Share Posted April 29, 2007 does any body make training earths to bring pups on, got a beddy a couple of weeks back and was thinking about making a training earth or an artificial earth to let the pups confidence grow so when hes old enough entering an earth shouldnt be a problem, anybody got any thoughts on the subject or should i just leave it, im new to terriers so any advise appriciated Quote Link to post

Guest whitser Posted April 29, 2007 Report Share Posted April 29, 2007 (edited) get some 8 inch sewer pipe and bends and make up a false earth then put bits of chicken at the end the pup will soon start traveling the tube for the chicken. make it a game for him. i do this with very young pups sometimes,just for the craic but it helps them get used to the dark.
