Few Rat's

Recommended Posts

After a long and arduous hike I finally reached my permission. A long cold night ahead of me but the scaly tails had taken over the patch and the score had to be settled. I set up the King Ratcatcher for about five meter’s enough I thought for the task ahead.

I didn’t bring a flask or something to nibble on I could manage without I thought. Not a good idea looking back, frost bite could set in easily on a night like this. I waited patiently looking to the pre baited area in front of me “movement” at last a large beast sniffing the air before he took the risk of picking up a morsel, but big mistake I took aim and got him just on the side of the head and it was curtains for him. Within a minute another small one emerged same fate I’m afraid side of the head straight through out the other side jumping and thrashing about to the last, then a third head shot again but it ran under an old cooker. Well that was it, wise rat’s “no more showing themselves”, I couldn’t get the third for the trophy shot I’ll retrieve him in the morning but here’s a pic of the first two.
