where do i stand i took my king ratcatcher into a gun shop for a service but ended up being talked into a co2 to air conversion. that was a year ago now ive been rearly pationt but went up today with the intention of getting it back only to be told its firing at 30 od foot pound and he cant find all the parts to it wat do i do ? cheers

As above, they've cocked it up not you, and after a year that's just taking the piss. They should get it back to as it was at their cost pretty bloody shapish. What shop is it, just out of interest?

Go to Trading Standards in your area - they can be found by googling it. They will give you the long and short of it, your rights, the sale of goods act, everything. No fee.

 

You should not have let it run for so long though. Do you have a receipt for when you took it in? If you don't, lesson number one, NEVER leave anything anywhere without getting a receipt for it.

 

The shop doesn't have a leg to stand on:

or even criminal damage (perfectly good item damaged by their actions.)

Tell them to return it to standard at their cost, trading standards if they dont, do you have any paperwork, like an agreement for work done?
