Well. your sitting watching, Pointless, and have certainly sucked me in ! So kudo's to you ! I'm a retired Aircraft Engineer, but how could I explain heavier than air flight to a savage ?? Yesterday, I was awarded a Certificate in Solar Energy Production, but how can I explain to the "bloke in the bar" how I'm going to give him free electricity ? The point I'm trying to make, is that eveyone dosen't need to know EVERYTHING ! When you dig deep enough, you find some things.....but is it what you REALY want to find ??

So, lets get back to dogs !!! I've had the pleasure to see African Wild Dogs pass thru' from Africa to Saudi Arabia, to Egypt. I shouldn't say it was a pleasure, it was just because I was there ! As far as I know, these dogs are as fast as any breed, but hunt in a pack, and run for miles on their prey! They are classed as "canines", but don't inter breed with dogs ! So, Pointless, are they a different breed, as you suggest ??

NOT FASTER DF. THEY RUN ON AEROBIC RESPIRATION AS MUSCLE TONE SUGGESTS. THEY RELY ON STAMINA TO WEAR DOWN THE QUARRY & TEAM WORK WITHIN THE PACK TO TAKE PREY. WATCHING A HUNT & HOPEFULLY A TAKE DOWN AT THE END IS A WONDERFULL SPECTACLE. SADLY APART FROM TV THE NEAREST I GOT TO SEEING THEM WAS AT LONDON ZOO

You crow about being so well qualified, ok so you're an Engineer! I was thrown out of class for challenging the crap that the teachers were trying to feed me. That was 40 years ago and I've made a point of educating myself in stuff they never teach you in school. i don't feel patronised by a dick like you, it's your attitude to the so called 'man in the bar' like me that sticks in my craw!
