Wanted chance to learn from an experienced hunter!

hi my name is martin i am 39, living in worksop, i am getting back into air gunning after a break of about 15yrs,and i am looking for the chance if possible to go out on the odd day or night with an experienced hunter to get rid of rust and gain enough experience to try to get my own permission. i use an AA s410 with hawke sport 3-9x40,i am a pretty good shot with targets but haven't shot live prey for about 15 or so yrs, i have a car so am able to travel within reason and i am willing to pay a small fee for the privelidge.i am a member of basc so i have air gun insurance,as said previously i am after advice and experience to build confidence in myself to get a permission and not show myself up or let down any farmer/land owner willing to allow me on their land! thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any offers.

Good luck mate - you're asking for the right thing! A bit of help rather than asking for a permission.

If you werent 90 miles away, I'd say you can come out with me and I (and anyone solid) wouldn't want any kind of fee for having you along as a guest. Decent folk here like putting something back into the sport.

I hope you find someone close by to give you what you ask for.

just a quick update i have managed to be pointed to a guy running a pest service and i have been able to join up with him to shoot and learn more, so hope to be able to be able to post some happy,poss full bag pics!
