Try him with a tin of tuna mate, drain all the liquid off it and offer him a small ammount, even sick dogs will eat that, if he eats the small ammount, mix the rest of it in with his normal food, that ought to get the ball rolling for you and him.

Hope it helps

Make sure the dog isn't I'll in any way first ... Is he struggling to have a shat ? Is he drinking ? Is he being sick ? If any of the answers are yes he may well have a blockage of some sort .....

If a tin of tuna dont temp it your up against it mate, a dog on deaths door would take a mouthfull of that. As has been said, he may just be pining , he'll come round for you before long.

Let us know how you get on.

until he settles down and comes back to himself as such, he is all in his head, new smells, new faces, sounds etc, this is a biggy with sensitive dogs in particular , until he feels safe and secure in himself he wont reference his gut, and when he does he will eat,

cheers for all the advice lads didnt think much of tuna but tried him with a chicken breast and it went down the hatch in seconds so diced another one up and that went aswell. gunna take a trip to sun valley now and feed him on raw chicken as thats all he seems intrested in. thanks again for advice atb

For me you should of left it starve till it ate it's food that you decide too feed it...moving a pup around will upsett the apple cart and can cause them to go of there food..the worst ever thing you can do is try tuna or chicken or anything else nice..because all's you will do is make a picky dog..which is a fooking nightmare..

for what its worth fella chicken carcas etc green tripe , his far superior than any biscuit just add bits 2 the tripe etc , ya wont go far wrong . TO leave whelps for a few days while they become accustomed to new surrounds etc will put a check on the growth and his not good policy , atb bunnys.

I dont agree with you there bunnys..Eukanuba puppy food has a lot more nutrition in it than tripe and chicken alone...maybe if you buy some of the cheaper puppy food's the pup would be lacking but not with Eukanuba..and i can't see where anyone mentioned not feeding a pup for a few day's.. :icon_eek: ..whoever said that want's banning from keeping dog's..

Pity you are so far away matey, i have a freezer full of green tripe, never known a dog to turn its nose up at that, good stuff, get yourself a decent puppy complete, like has been said , Eukanuba, everything your puppy will need in their, weaned my litter on a decent complete, now on raw

good luck :victory: :victory:
