markdog 18 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Share Posted March 4, 2012 think it depends on trainer, when i owned track dogs some trainers just stuck to red mills complete feed and switched to oz formula when trying with a dog others fed a meat and veg stew with the dry food. others included raw meat if the dog is working hard just to give it that bit extra Loads of modern supplements to add into the diets also Quote Link to post Share on other sites

When I ran dogs on the flaps they were fed a mix of raw meat, veg, brown bread and some complete food. Feeding is only one part of getting the dogs in good order, excersize and rest are also important. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
