the real nipper

hi there just been watching some dvd with nipper from when he started courseing till he retied and i must admit what i saw on the the dvd the dog killed a lot of hares but it did not show the ones that it missed i like to know if any courseing lads ever watch the dog run on the fens has i have herd diffrent storyies about the dog thanks alot

Nipper was an exceptionaly good dog from the past, so why start a thread asking for rumours about the dog now ?

seen nipper run a few times.. seen him kill 3 off one slip at spalding and teh hares werent poor.. he had a massive heart and he was hammered to death.. not as good as hsi sister but he was a top dog ..ps i dont think he was slow he just adapted his style for hares in the area he run

must have been one of the best litters bred that ! how many was in the litter kalrlsberg ? ... i know of foxy , rose , nipper and reefer ...did you ever see reefer run mate ?

think there was 6 in litter there was sam and a dog cn had who he rated best in litter but died... yes was a very good litter and all the litter was bottle fed hand reared... seagull was a great producer..

I was talking to Gary actually on the fens the day before the ban in 2004 , he had run nipper that day as a very old dog and by all acounts he didnt do to bad , and he looked a old dog that day , if any one knows when they were born , we would know how old he was that day !

 

Class animal , and got to be one of the best litters ever !
