Thats a pretty little bird mate :victory: ,has it been colour fed as it has a nice colouring on it's chest?.Get him out in the garden when it's a nice day singing and your'll see the wild goldies come in to see who it is making the song.

Bred last year from a goldie to a Fife, not sure about colour fed but the red is very distinctive, went to a sale and some were selling for £140, me being new didnt want to pay that much, got this one for £35 from a bloke about 12 miles away, have joined a CBS club, meeting on thursday so hopefully meet more people in the know.

Thats a fair price to pay for a cock goldie mule mate and your'll find some grand help at the cbs meeting,my local ones are so so funny with old norfolk boys going off on tangents all the time but what them fella's know you couldn't fit it the cover of a book it's so vast.

Only reason I asked mate is that the finch noted mules are worth more, imo the whole idea of breeding a finch mule is to have it finch noted but a more reliable singer with hybrid vigour but as long as your happy with the bird that's the main thing.
