Millet 4,497
Im the kind of person that question the bull terrier breed. Just for one reason, they are a bit thick. They are very clever dog's and i only baise your comment on inexperience of the breed..
The Duncan 802
if rared proper will make great pets They make great pets if you take them away from what they know and were bred for you mean .....................use a dog for the qualities it was bred and you wont go far wrong.......if you want a great pet, look for a breed of dog with a reputation as great pets.....not a breed of dog bred for athletic performance in combat. The problem was never inexperienced owners, the problem has always been owners with a lack of common sense PBT' s make great pets, provided the owner treats them correctly and makes sure they know their place. In fact, I've promised my wife that she can have a grey one if/when we get to the states (still waiting on that last blasted piece of paperwork to be resolved )

oxo 441
Owned all the bull terrier breeds for nigh on thirty years now starting with KC Staffords and EBTs then bulldogs and Staffords from working lines, love the dogs. Anyone that says they can make a pet out of a bulldog from working lines is a better man than me, their work is other dogs so if you own one grow another set of eyes and keep your dog on the lead. It gets tiresome walking dogs late at night so you do not bump into someone who has a dog that "just wants to play". As for me i wll always love them but i would not own another.

Your right i dont know you......but i know enough about you to know you shouldnt have one..............thats not brave its just honest........but nobody can dictate what another person does so you probably will get one.................................hence the way the breed has gone over the last 10 years !
