Steveclark 9
Just wondering if there were any legal restrictions on how early you could start shooting in the morning? The fields i'm going to be on are quite remote but there are a few houses around. Also as this will be my first outing on the pigeons, is starting too early (sunrise) pointless or should I wait til mid morning? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. tegater 789
Depends what you are doing, but I take my young lad under a flight line from their roosts, first thing in the mornings, and the first ones usually start coming over before sunrise. Quote Link to post

stevethefish 80
Shoot whenever you can see, but ground game only when dark. (well unless you are wildfowling or have xray eyes) Around here we don't get the pigeons at first light that often, it's usually gulls, then crows and then the pigeons but you need to be there and ready early because the first flights are hungry birds and they just keep coming. 1 Quote Link to post
