Like Chief asked though, what does Brian do with these failures when they return to his kennels, I'd hazard a guess that they didn't get shot as why would he be paying money back for them and then PTS.

If he was culling the failures that got brought back to him then he would be the man he used to be and nobody could question him, but if they go anywhere but the incinerator then IMO he is playing the game wrong.

There is absolutely no question that if BN hadn't taken an interest in Patterdale's then we could be in quite a different state of affairs now, I wholeheartedly agree that Brian has played a huge part in the evolution of the patterdale terrier too and he should be respected for his involvement knowledge and experience but the fact of the matter is that he has given out to the £ or $ , if he has one side of his yard full of the REAL stuff from years back and they are getting tested and the other side of the yard full of shit for the muppets to buy from him he has the best of both worlds, the breeding and the money, and I suppose at his age he doesn't really give a flying f**k what everyone else thinks anyway.

I OVERHEARD A CONVERSATION WITH BRIAN SOME YEARS BACK THAT ANY DOG THAT COMES BACK TO HIM AS A FAILURE IS SORTED [ NEUTERED-SPEYED] AND SOLD AS PETS, HOW RIGHT THIS IS I DON T KNOW BUT IT WOULD MAKE SENSE FROM THE MONEY ANGLE
