pigeon shooting with an unexpected visitor

hi guys,

im fourteen and went out pigeon shooting on a rape field with my father today, started off great we got to the field and it was blue with them. set all our hide and decoys and magnet and got going but they all dissapered for ages! finaly one came in and i had that then nothing again. dad happend to glance down the hedge row the other side of the field and there was charlie so as i was my turn to shoot dad let me have him if he came close. so anyway dad squeeked him in and he came sprinting across the field antill he got about 10 yards away and i had to stand up and shout at him just to get him to look up. i only had my 5s so shot him in head and he still managed to get across to the other side of the field and then collapse and die not sure how but any way. we have been going out with the lamp at night for ages trying to get him finaly i managed it with it being my first ever fox i shot

I shot mine with 5s' first one i ever got close range dropped after 15 yard run stone dead.... still got the tail to this day as a trophy!!! But to be honest fox shooting isn't really my thing but it needed killing as it was devastating the shoot i was on.
