gnasher16 30,469
So you'd be happy to be booed, sworn at and called every name under the sun when going about your daily job? No more happy than a fat person being called fat or an ugly person being called ugly....................if blacks are so delicate that they need protecting from the world we live in then dont put themself up in public sports arenas.........if Wayne Rooney couldnt take being called an ugly fat c**t every week he would have to accept professional sport is not for him.......blacks cant dictate how the world lives their life. I had the piss taken for being a catholic back when the IRA were doing their thing and I was at school. Luckily I'm not such a delicate flower and I am not scarred from it
eddoakley 8
Does nobody else realise that this isnt ''RASICM'' but ''POLITICAL CORRECTNESS'' these people are not being discriminated against, just being called names. If they were being called GINGER cnts instead of black would that be any different? Its just a physical description. What winds me up is that there can be things like '' The Metropolitan Black Police Officers Society'' :censored: Can you imagine a 'White [police officers society''? ''You cant come in 'cos youre black'' .....Wonder how that would go down? Anyone heard of a musical event called the MOBO awards? Lets set up the MOWO awards and see what happens The world has gone mad. As much as I agree that noone should be discriminated against because of the colour of their skin that is not what these things are.
bouncer 51
No use naming all white footballers who have never have been racially abused! The players you mentioned are legends BUT what has that got to do with racism? The issue here is racism and quite rightly a complaint will be made. Racism is a big thing in modern society and yeah i'm sure there are a lot of people who have no time for people of a different skin colour but there's no need to be abusive and calling them monkeys because of their skin colour. Would you get away with it in the street? Would you f**k! How would you feel if you were the minority and amongst other things called a "f*****g white cracker" or "honkey" or even a "white scumbag". And got abused everytime you went about your profession. You wouldn't be happy. Don't get me wrong, i love a racist joke and despise extremist muslims. But if someone hasn't done anything other than go about their business, why should anyone call them out just for their skin colour? Racism should not be accepted I agree. But I think the whole thing has been taken a tad too far. e.g. Its not a black board any more, we cant sing baa baa black sheep. so on so fourth. Is that really offensive to any one. I know the examples that I have given here are petty but you know what I mean. i know it's ridiculous.they stopped the nativity plays in the schools around here because of the pakis,if they don't like it fcuk off out of our country. Nik_B 3,790
People are more intolerant (racist??) now because of that stuff that 10 or 15 years ago
RubyTex 1,957
Don't get me wrong lads i'm not sticking up for blacks and pakis but it's all needless racism.
Nik_B 3,790
yep but the world isn't a fair place and many people get discriminated against them for various reasons unfortunately they don't belong to a special club that protects them. My brothers wife is a scouser living down south and she has had it because of her accent, I've had it because I worked in a muslim country, etc etc.... In the end the people who get respect are the ones that crack on and don't cry about silly stuff...especially when you're getting paid millions
Malt 379
I look at it like this. The white population is a varied bunch here in the UK as it is. There are totally different cultures and ways of live all over these isles, yet we can happily take the piss out of each other and say things which could be found offensive without causing much actual offence. The difference is we take it and give it back in equal measure. I don't see why should skin colour be perceived as being more important than what's on the inside, seeing as we're all basically the same underneath it. I reckon the whole racism thing is not about racial equality any more, it's all about highlighting the differences..
