been out today with bob my mhh and amey my mates fhh , we went to a wood we normaly have a good bit of sport in and there was a few rabbits about . amey took off followed by bob and she nailed a bunny , now my mate was on her pretty quick to dispatch the bunny and when i got to him he was fending bob of with his stick while trying to get amey off the rabbit , he had hold of the rabbits back leg and threw a chick leg down so amey would let go , as she let go of the rabbit it kicked my mate off and bolted back into some cover chased by bob , i was in stithces at my mate who was cursing and swearing at the bunny , anyway we pressed on and bob missed one , so we moved on to an old quarry , amey missed another so did bob , bob flew at a pheasent but i shouted at him to laeve it as there out of season lol!!!!!all in all a good day but came home with nowt

Nice genuine write up Mick ...

thats one well trained Harrishawks mate when you can shout at it to leave game birds out of season . think we have all had accidents in the past when our hawks are loose, to them a game bird out of season is still a meal, somtimes if one walks out underneath them accidents happen.....
