Guest AngelicAcid
Right now, ive just received an e mail saying that ive breached p pal policies, and will be prosecuted as i didnt send an item off to nigeria. I did however send the buyer an e mail explaining that i didnt have the 50 odd quid at that time to send it over. he has now reported me to pay pal, and i have 24 hours to send the item or will be prosecuted by the law enforcement agencies. This was a private sale from something advertised on Guntree. Any help appreciated, this is a great start to the day. Ive e mailed pay pal and asked for the matter to be resolved without the item been sent.
lksopener 105
Ignore it and don't send anything to Nigeria! It's a con and will be a phishing email, call paypal and explain the situation.

Guest AngelicAcid
no, pay pal were holding his payment until i shipped the item, which was to go to Nigeria, and would be 50 odd quid to post. the item was for sale for 140 quid. I dont have 50 quids here and there to pay upfront postage to daft nigeria. I knew it was Suss. when i received all the details, thats why i never posted the item. bob.243 9,140
I worked in Nigeria for years, these f*ckers could steel the holes out of a flute, they are called 419ers,419 is the number on the statute book for fraudsters, they are the biggest scammers in the world, you probably would not get the item you thought you had got, they would have had your payment, and would have been the last you would have heard of it. I don't think that paypal deals with Nigeria, e-bay does not as it's too high a risk country, and of course paypal & e-bay are the same company. Are you sure it is a bona-fide paypal e-mail you have received? Have a look here, http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=nigeria+419&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CC4QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FAdvance-fee_fraud&ei=_Nw8T6KMM4SZOs7_3cAK&usg=AFQjCNEdUg_bvZ_Bxjgq9v0tPDI-b3gBgg

Bootsha 1,306
I always thought that if you payed with paypal the money would come through straight away unles an e cheque in which case paypal tell you not to send the goods until it has cleared. If the nigerians had sent you funds then you would have had them through paypal instantly mate. Are you sure its the proper paypal contacting you ? f**k sending £50 to some nigerian c**t, tell him to f**k off and get his goods elsewhere, your British man, stand your ground..... f**k him / them. If they can prove he sent the money and you can see it in your account fair enough, but £50 seems an awfull lot to send something to there mate??, what did he buy off you, some handwarmer liners for a Kammo coat or what ?? lol. Dont worry about it mate, lifes to short. Hope my constructive advice has been of help to you
