ANTHONYCHEZ 27
has any one seen this cross worked or ever worked one . seen one walk past this afternoon , cracking looking dog, the owner said its loves water and is a very strong swimmer., and doesn't feel the cold. would imagine with the correct breeding it could make a good wildfowling dog altho the coat could get quite dirty. Dave C 63
Dont think you need anything that big and clumsy mate, a good pure Lab will do it just fine. Go for a bigger wildfowling type and you wont go wrong ATB Dave. 3 Quote Link to post
GrCh 856
or get a goldon retriver? 1 Quote Link to post
Lab 10,979
I agree................but you dont need a big heavy dog you need a fit dog. A heavy coat may well be an advantage for keeping the dog from getting cold but it would also add alot of weight. Give me a nice athletic Lab that has a nice outdoor living coat on it all the way...... Quote Link to post
