lamping

i just wanted to get your opinions on would it be safe to lamp a dog two nights in a row ? :hmm:

 

i got some new permission and i lamped it last night and ran 6 killed 4 i wanted to know would it be safe to run the bitch again tonight ? :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

If the dog fit it should be fine no problems at the start of the season my bitch was out 5 nights a week and did no harm. Plus out in the day

shes a collie whippet hound . ;) i gave her good grub last night the only reason that i would be going back down to this ground to lamp her is that its excellant land and i only got permission to hunt it yesterday and i only have another week to hunt it because the livestock will be back out :icon_eek:

She only had 6 runs its not like she had an all nighter we dog be fine after good food and day rest best luck

Iceman he might be in Ireland and look at his name lol might be 6 long hard runs or could be 6 easy ones lol or it could just be a rabbit lol then 6 should just be a warm up like you said

No problem, running 6 rabbits is fine fora few nights on the trot of the dogs fit and lansds not testing, if the dog had alot higher amount of runs say 20+, then you should start to think hard about giving the dog a good rest it. Rest is VERY VERY important and IMO essential to a dogs longevity as a worker. :thumbs:
