cronan147 0 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Share Posted February 24, 2013 molls little dog has had a few nights with twenty rabbits and i think the most was 26 not bad for a shivery little whippet I will second that.. ...he is a very handy little dog..he was hit and miss in the early day's but Moll put the effort and time in and now she has a whippet that rarely misses a rabbit.. what age did she strat to improve at?thanks Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,288 Posted February 25, 2013 Report Share Posted February 25, 2013 I always like the drive and oomph that a Whippet brings to the table,great wee dogs that can put many bigger dogs to shame out in the field..yes some are small,fine boned not worth a wank types but if you do your research and get one from proper working,proven lines then you'll have fun a plenty...like was said earlier don't believe all you read about them being no good for nothing on here..plenty of owners whos word is as good as gospel speak highly of them...I'd prefer to listen to the likes of Woodga,Moll and plenty of others over a few crabbers any day of the week...go for it and have fun!!! 4 Quote Link to post
