THE POACHER 13 Posted April 26, 2007 Report Share Posted April 26, 2007 got a week off work so thought id make a false earth found a nice place on the weekend in a wood close to a plantation went up this morning and had a crack at it dug a trench about 20ft long and dropped a nice 9 inch pipe in there made a nice box at the end out of stone for the block end just hope the foxes use it as its in a nice area where there are a few foxes the area its in pic up the pipe front view forgot the camera when i was digging the trench etc so went up and took these Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Personally i think the drain is too short and they dont seem to like using single entrance artificials much, they would rather prefer double or treble enders. Also, the plastic thing is a no no IMHo. i could be wrong, but when i was young i did the same thing. those three artificials are still there but i have never ever had a fox in them, and thats after ten years!!! I admire your commitment, but i thought i better be honest to stop you wasting loads of energy like i did. I hope i am wrong though as you put the effort in. good hunting.
