had bob out again today , i hadnt been out long and bob was following me up a hedge row , i seen a couple of young pheasent take off and bob nailed the third . he hit it hard and kept a good hold of it , as i said in a previous post he was having trouble holding onto pheasents but he done good today

Not sure it's pheasant season! But nice one. Did you see my thread about the wind pipe from the pheasant getting over my hawks tounge and cutting off the blood supply? Check the birds tounge now and again is my new rule! I get him to peck at the tooth brush I use for his feet to see his tounge.

Good stuff Mick but they is no young about now..just be carefull though if your harris caught it as it could of been pricked from a earlier shoot and the last thing you want is lead poisoning..

i put it in the freezer millet , but i will check it before i let him have it , im saving it for when hes in the molt . cheers
