Whats a sensible price for a Captive Bred Spar?

i remember when muskets fetched £70 and female spar's £120!

 

 

cheapest female spar i knew of was £265 last year,£28o-£300 ive seen quoted this year.

I had 3 pairs on the go a few years back and sold them like hot cakes for £120 and £50 for Muskets, they finally went up to £180 and £75 before I sold two pairs to a spanish guy and the other pair went to Craig at Falconiformesuk....

 

£250 is a sensible price these days for the demand, a lad a couple of miles from here will be doing them for this price, but I think Merlins prices have gone way over the top compared to the sport a Sparrowhawk will give you.

Thanks for the insight lads.........I posted this for a mate & dont really know what a sensible price is......... .............. I have seen a spar in action a few times both in the wild & from the glove & they fascinate me.............When I'm to old for the spade I'll get myself into these little demons I think.....
