optelic2 48
When I first got hold of the ns200 I read from other posts and users, that the glare from the screen could be a potential problem, reference the quarry spotting you, and night vision. I was told by a photograher, that an Orange filter would enhance the black and white image produced on the screen at night. So I sent away for some Orange Gel filter off of good old Ebay. As I was in the throws trying it out, I just cut a piece to the approximate size, and selotaped it around the inside of the screen housing. Now, after trying it, and liking it, I have fitted the gel a bit better. Now I have no tape showing around the edges when the screen is lit. At the back of the screen there are 4 X tiny screws, one at each corner of the screen housing. I undid the screws, cut a large piece of Gel filter, enough to overlap the edges, placed it on the face of the screen and screwed the frame back on, keeping the Gel filter as tight as possible. Then trimmed the excess off with a sharp blade. Now have a nice tidy job, much better. Bill. Good skills there Bill, i will be making this mod myself as lat the moment ive just got mine taped ovber the outsied of the screen. Mick Hi there Mick.
