Sweeney-Todd 208
When I first got hold of the ns200 I read from other posts and users, that the glare from the screen could be a potential problem, reference the quarry spotting you, and night vision. I was told by a photograher, that an Orange filter would enhance the black and white image produced on the screen at night. So I sent away for some Orange Gel filter off of good old Ebay. As I was in the throws trying it out, I just cut a piece to the approximate size, and selotaped it around the inside of the screen housing. Now, after trying it, and liking it, I have fitted the gel a bit better. Now I have no tape showing around the edges when the screen is lit. At the back of the screen there are 4 X tiny screws, one at each corner of the screen housing. I undid the screws, cut a large piece of Gel filter, enough to overlap the edges, placed it on the face of the screen and screwed the frame back on, keeping the Gel filter as tight as possible. Then trimmed the excess off with a sharp blade. Now have a nice tidy job, much better. Bill. 1 Quote Link to post

Sweeney-Todd 208
nice bit of kit there bud ive jus been looking at a ns50 for rabbit on my permision. what kind of battery life do you get from these units on full wack? kanny Hi Kanny. Yep......they are a nice bit of kit buddy. As far as the battery that is supplied with the unit is concerned, I have not bothered to test it. Because of the size and wieght issue i sent away for some smaller batteries, on recommedation of another user. Heres a link to them. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-DC-12V-4800mAh-Super-Rechargeable-Lithium-Battery-EU-Charger-/250893249399?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a6a672b77 Fully charged on Max IR output they return 2hrs and 20mins, I ordered two of the batteries, so can get nearly 5 hrs of use on Max IR. Running the batteries on 1st setting, I got 5hrs run time from one battery,so = 10hrs with the two, had to stop it to go out. ATB. Bill. Quote Link to post
Sweeney-Todd 208
Hi Davy. As you know, I am limmited to how much, and how far, I can get out at the moment, good days, and bad. But fear not, as soon as my opperation has been done, I will hopefully be running around the fields again. I wouldnt let you in my salon , you moan and winge too much....... besides......you need to have some hair, to be able to have it cut  As far as the Pulsar goes, looked at it, tried it, didnt like it, no match for the Nitesite what so ever .................even though I am Minted  I can imagine you not having time to try ther filter out.......your to busy running around the woods playing at snipers......get out and do some propper shooting with a propper calibre rifle too Love you Bill.
