serious question: what are non ped whippets or whip x greys like on tough ground, im on about Dales type land with rocks, boulders, very steep, hard on feet i would expect etc. i dont care about opinions on stamina etc, but simply, could they manage a life on that type of land without serious injury? i know any dog is, but are these more prone, are they weaker due to just being bred for track?

i have no need for a massive dog, so wondered what these were like just out of interest. my dog which is half ped whippet runs over some shit, scree, rocks, etc. i would want it for ferreting and mooching on some tough ground if i ever did get one, but they seem too fragile for me...... but is that with any sighthound based dog?

Reddawn was yours a ped?

Same sofa, but now I'm into the Toy breeds, here's my Australian Chihauhua;

And, yeah, that was a "Giant Manchester Terrier", (some call them Doberman), but another of my toy breeds is a Mini Manchester terrier;
