bert69 5
Hi all, i have a howa 1500 in .243 with a synthetic thumbhole stock. I noticed this evening that it has become very loose in the stock ie the metal to wood fit is no longer very good, the gun is around 4 years old and has had a couple of hundred shells through it, anyone experienced anything similar on this or any other type of gun? The gun still shoots straight but it quite obviously isn't right, you can physically see the action moving in the wood, any suggestions? Quote Link to post

bert69 5
Since tightening the screws as suggested it seems fine, ive never touched these screws so can only presume they have loosened with recoil? Quote Link to post
