sambo123 594
My mate has a Patt x Whippet.. Too big and tall to work hedges off like a terrier when out ferreting, bushing etc yet not leggy or quick enough to catch rabbits 'out in the open' so it's no good for bolters, lamping etc.Not saying that's what they're all like. just this dog in particular. Nice looking pup's though them Edited February 19, 2012 by sambo123
Mrquinn 106
My friend had a litter from a collie whippet bitch to a bully Patt dog They ended up whippet shape but smaller with a bully head he kept 3 back and they made good lil dogs on the short runs
hunter-girl 10
well currently the farther is used for ferreting, lamping and bushing with terrier. The dam is used for ferreting, bushing and ratting (and what ever else i find her doing!). So the pups really were bread for the same thing just to get the benefits from both dogs. Although the dam is fast she isnt quite fast enough for rabbits in the open but it also put a bit more guts and hardy into the whippet. They will be good pest controllers dogs.
