does she look a better shape in this picture?post-52472-0-57713700-1329066800_thumb.jpg

For me the hip to front shoulder measuments still look out of keel the first photo clearly shows the terrier type inward facing legs with paws turned outwards.

ATB Cookie not knocking the dogs just highlighting why I would choose the rough unless you need a more bushing based lurcher over lamping pure speed turn abilty.

I think You mean weak in the passterns mate, and it is near impossible to critique a dog from a picture, You could argue she also looks upright in stiffle, but I would say its more the way she is standing in the picture. I would say it would be impossible to judge the confirmation between a rough coat to a smooth coat without, firstly running your hands over them and then seeing them move, and at the end of the day they are babys so what You have now will be very different in several months

I think they both look like nice very well looked after pups, and good with what ever you keep.

Agree trying to not get to fancy with anatomy etc but having a good pastern with good slope makes the dogs ability to run over rough diffcult ground at speed and catch is important yes I agree that its diffcult in such a young dog to judge its final confirmation etc but it looks like its got a very high chance of being short coupled

You can tell all that from one, not very flattering, photo ? WOW !!   Cheers.

Brindle for me!....Pups of that young age don't always show even growth, some pups at around the five month age are right ugly feckers growing out of proportion. Happens with all living things!   Go

I know enough about dogs to know you cant judge ANY dog, let alone a pup, from one picture where you cant even see the whole dog !   Cheers.
