GrCh 856
Its mainly for work (Plasterer) and to transport the dogs in. My work is south yorkshire based 10,000 is a rough estimate may do more may do less. Thanks for all the replies gents. If its for plastering you will have to rule out the smaller vans like berlingos or swb connects because you wont be able to get the 8x4 sheets in .....if i remember right the lwb connect is the smallest van you will be able to get them in......used to have a yard full of vans years ago you could of virtually helped yourself but its a Mcdonalds now My boss has the merc vito cracking van but out of my price range, Size isn't to important as 8x4's are usally bought in bulk and dropped off on site. if thats the case buy a Caddy Is it possible to get a decent one for £3000? To be honest i never even thought about your plaster boards mate. if its your first motor then buy something that can fit your gear in. What about if you get a few homers and you cant get the stuff in the van? Go for a transit mate...........

FightTheBan 1,147
http://vans.autotrad...voy-cdti-diesel what your thoughts on this? Probably been clocked, no service history, 8 years old 88,000 miles Very few vans will do as little as 10,000 miles a year, thats granny mileage. I wouldnt touch it. Fuel pumps on astras are prone to going shortly after 100,000 miles. FTB
FightTheBan 1,147
For a small van I would not look past the caddy, but doubt if you will get one decent for less than 3k. Astras and combos are good aswell but as with most there are things to look out for. FTB

rocky1 942
well like already been said if plaster boards have 2 go in then it would have 2 be transit small wheelbase ,but as for small vans transt connects are the best imo lots of common faults on them belingo, parter, dispatches this speaking from personaly experince of these veicles another good little runners or astra or escort vans
