My work is south yorkshire based 10,000 is a rough estimate may do more may do less. Thanks for all the replies gents. If its for plastering you will have to rule out the smaller vans like berlingos or swb connects because you wont be able to get the 8x4 sheets in .....if i remember right the lwb connect is the smallest van you will be able to get them in......used to have a yard full of vans years ago you could of virtually helped yourself but its a Mcdonalds now My boss has the merc vito cracking van but out of my price range, Size isn't to important as 8x4's are usally bought in bulk and dropped off on site. if thats the case buy a Caddy Is it possible to get a decent one for £3000? To be honest i never even thought about your plaster boards mate. if its your first motor then buy something that can fit your gear in. Probably been clocked, no service history, 8 years old 88,000 miles Very few vans will do as little as 10,000 miles a year, thats granny mileage. I wouldnt touch it. TOMO 26,068 Posted February 13, 2012 Report Share Posted February 13, 2012 little van , i have the berlingo 160 on the clock 45 to the gallon ,, can fault mine,, just did all the filters, and engin flush for £23.. great diesels the citroen and purgeot,, but as has been said not big enough for plaster board........... is the citroen dispatch big enough in the back??
