I think what's happened is that the anti's have dug up old quotes from many years ago made by Enda Kenny and Eamonn Gilmore where they said they were opposed to hare coursing.

I know a few weeks ago that 2 TDs said they were anti too.

Any one who think's the anti's in Eire are asleep is a fool.

If they're not taken seriously then why do greyhounds wear muzzles for coursing??? Coursing in muzzles has got to be the stupidest thing ever in coursing.

i couldnt care less about greyhounds coursing with muzzles on i hunt with lurchers not greyhounds. and i think that muzzling a greyhound was a fair compromise anyway ,its the one reason why the sport is still allowed in this country imo.if it was going to be banned it would of been banned when the greens were in power and thankfully they are no more.
