I didn't know whether to post this due to the usual daft replies but this section of late seems to get some good/ none abusive debates.....

 

A guy I know who is seriously Ill was giving up the game due to going into hospital for a major operation. He was selling the lot, ferrets, hutches, boxes, nets and food. A young lad turned up and after explaining he was new to the game my friend done him a good turn. 6 ferrets, 2 carry boxes, full bag of food and a hutch(which he couldn't fit in the car) for a token gesture of £20.

 

Few days later the ferrets are all on Gumtree for £20 each carry box was sold for a further £20......

 

A lad got in touch with me and asked me to help him out, I spoke to him on the phone and soon realised it was the same lad that had got the kit of my mate.

 

He went on to say that he had infect kept ferrets for years but kept them over the summer and then in winter when he couldnt be arsed to look after them/ when the demand for ferrets was high he would sell them for £20-30!

 

Now this shocked me, when I realised the severity of my friends illness I was livid that he had done this lad a good turn and in return the boy had sold all his working ferrets and kept 2 back to breed from! Seems he thinks he can become a millionaire from breeding ferrets!

 

Is this how the game works? Am I missin something or is there seriously more tossers out there than I know.
