old timer123 367
Bull x,s should be no more prone to this incident than any other lurcher/running dog type imo. Its all about training and tuning in with your dog thats all..no special formula just that. Why should bull x,s be ruled with an iron fist? Are they summat special as a breed type..i think not..they are just the same as any breed imo..the only difference maybe is the power of jaw they yield..atb stabba stabba only bullxs thars had have been petbulls so that will have that opinion... think your forgetting what the bull was bred for in the first place ... yes im all for being in tun e with your animal but some times instinct an breeding take over thats when a dog needs to know who`s boss an do as its told pack leader an all that shit... IMHO a terrier is the only dog that benefits from a thrashing, for almost all other breeds anything more than a cuff is a complete waste of time. I could be wrong, but I would think anything with decent bull blood in a good percentage would take you to pieces if you kept on beating it? 2 Quote Link to post
bird 9,894
if dog knows its place it waint go for other dogs imo any how true , the yank dog trainer ceasar what ever is name is lol as feckin 20 dogs loose ,and got 1/2 dozen pits in there . Not 1 dog kicks off, because he is the boss simple . As i said ive had 3 bullxs , a pure bitch, and none of them started on any strange dog, get it to there heads when pups, and never let no differnt when older. But you can get a bad dog in any breed, there aint alot you can do about that.!! only 1 thing and we all know what that is. bullx is just a dog nothing more nothing less, treat like any other, and you wont have any probs Quote Link to post

RubyTex 1,957
So are you going to pay the old man for the trouble? I had similar bother today on my ramble, some guys were after the rabbits on public land. One of their greyx came over and was fancying a pop at the pup, it growled and went for the bitch and my dog ran at it and sent it flying with a tackle that wouldn't be out of place in rugby. He got to his feet, stood between the bitch and it and bared his teeth. It f****d off, he might be a Springer but he's taken allsorts on in his time. f*****g coarsing on a public footpath, plebs.
