tomano1 80
Could u not use oil filled radiators and fit a cut out plug so it would trip if there was a short or electrical flat ?

Rhodey 96
Just get a normal heat lamp they hardly cost anything to run. Tube heaters warm the air and unless there is a door on the kennel it won't do a lot, were as a heat lamp heats what it's shining on. Moll. 1,770
I've never heard a good things about tube heaters yet, so rubbish even poultry folk wont use them, or so i am led to believe. I use an oil filled radiator, they have a thermostat and i keep it just on so it keeps the chill out of the air. On reading the 'Which guide' for electric heaters they reckoned the oil filled radiators used the less electricity.
