Bosun11 537
The 'only' reason why you would breed brother to sister is because it is the best option, when nothing else will do. You should know everything about each animal and their parents and possibly further back too! Personally, I only see it worthwhile if there are very few breeds in the mix or lines (strains) are very tight. You should breed if you are looking for a direct replica of the parents and are looking for no other ingredients to the mix. Quote Link to post
On the drum again 32
Mp bred brother to sister the pups came out week bad eyesight week back ends brutal bones my advise hell no if you are going to breed pick a strong bitch .in nature the hardest dog and bigest and strongest lines the bitch not the best hunter that's wy every bodys pups are getting to small and week if you egg nore nature at your own peral Quote Link to post
MOO 730
Regarding brother and sister mateing most people just go by here say and have no experiance in the matter ....I bred a litter last year which are just over 3 months so far there are no physical or mental problems .....so time will tell if this is worth while or not Quote Link to post
On the drum again 32
Do your self afavour get rid of your pups you sol not beat nature only a fool wood try they will not mature unrolled 3 to 4 years old and I do now what I am saying Quote Link to post
Bosun11 537
Err, I really don't think you do On the Drum...! I've seen, owned and bred closer than that and produced the best of dogs from it, so please save the nature lecture. As I put it in my post, it should only be undertaken with maximum thought and I am very sure Moo has done this and those pups will turn out just fine. Asking a bloke to cull his pups...Don't be silly man..!! Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537
Name one good dog and iv done it twice you will be putting them down A dog named Pye was put to his litter sister and produced Dee, Spike, Ice, Clyde and Custard. I seen Dee, Spike Clyde and Ice run and knew 'em for most of their long and well grafted lives. I knew of Custard and she was no worse. All of these dogs were at the top of their game. Only Clyde had a fault and that was he was a jaffa, no biggy in a litter of pure fecking quality! Quote Link to post
