Guest WILF
i have looking and searching for a good quality jack russell bitch for some time now and there is something puzzeling me that some of you might find interesting.....and that is if somebody has for sale a litter of puppies that they claim to be of GOULD breeding then i would expect there to be at least a couple of GOULD dogs/bitches in the breed pedigree. one such litter i came across had one GOULD dog in the pedigree and that dog was a great/great grandfather of the pup i was considering....now please feel free to correct me if i am wrong but great/great grandfather mathematicly speaking is 1/16 of the pups make up .....does that give the breeder the right to use GOULD reputation to sell his/her pups ????? Breeders undoubtedly use names because people look for names........dont now why, but thats how it is. If you are not lucky enough to know blokes who are breeding decent workers to decent workers or have trusted friends that can put you on to good blokes..........then I am afraid its all just "pay your money & take your chances" We all have to do it sometimes!.............just remeber to shoot it or at least have its bits out if it fails Quote Link to post

bernie.g 0
I like Mac the most, nice russel. Mac as with my others, was a fantastic dog. He had looks, strength, stamina, intelligence and humour. Hazel was the "lady" and Pip the tomboy. A very nice lady I know emailed me to say that the spirit of a beloved pet enters the body of your next pet. This seems so of Smudger as he is charming, witty and of great intelligence. Milly on the other hand needs a bit more work on her self confidence. I can see the gameness in her which is why I know she'll do well. Nearly there with her bernie Quote Link to post
