For Sale AMT/US Optics D241m (milspec) Gen 2+ NV Rifle scope for sale

Hi all,

Im selling this as Im just not using it that much.

Its an AMT/US Optics D241m Generation 2+ NV rifle scope with auto gated system tube which works perfectly.

 

The 'm' stands for milspec, as such the lenses are a very good and its completely weather proof. This is a 'proper' generation 2+ tube with plenty of hours left in it.

Mounting is weaver/picatinny, ill throw in a low profile weaver to dovetail mount.

 

It comes in a Pelican hard case and I have just put a fresh battery in it.

 

Its got 3x magnification and a very good onboard IR illuminator which is good for eye shine out to 90ish yards.

 

There is a fast focus eye lens and the front lens also has focus adjustment from around 10yds to infinity.

 

The retical is a chevron type which matches the spacings of standard mildot, this is illuminated green on green and also has seperate windage and elevation turrets with 1/4" clicks at 100yds.

 

There are 2 very very small black dots and they are not in the central area and do not interfere with use.

 

 

For sale on this forum only at the moment.

 

This scope has very high resolution and light amplification, its sharp as hell right out the the very edges of the lenses, oh and dont forget its milspec with auto gated tube.

Consider that a D grade tube Gen 3 scope will cost you a minimum of £1600.00 and that A grade Gen 2+ start at around the same price.

 

For sale for a sensible £875 including RM signed for postage, can also take payment by credit card or debit card over the phone or by Paypal but your going to have to add 3% for PP.

A few questions

x3 magnification NV with a chevron reticle, how far can you shoot with this ?

can you get a doubler for this and if so who sells them, if i need to get it repair or need a part who do i go to ?

How far can you shoot with a chevrion reticle?, well its mildot calibrated so the same distance you can shoot with whatever rifle you are going to put it on. Hold over is hold whatever reticle you have as is windage. I use it effectively out to 150yds on rabbit with HMR and easy 200yds fox with .223CF.

 

AMT and US Optics both made doublers - doctor bobs kit may well work, I dont know.

The unit is made by AMT which is now ATN. The same units were sold by a multitude of well known NV companies - US Optics, Cobra, ATN.

This model of scope is no longer made - Julian at Starlight would be my my first point of call if I needed a repair.

Yep these did cost around £1300 when they 1st came out.
