It is quite useful on new permissions, where your not sure of distances. But, to be honest, if you are used to the land your shooting on, you`ll soon get the idea of how far away things are. They are easy to use and work a treat, so if you can justify the cost then id go for it. Did I see the Harris range finders on Amazon? reviews were good too, and if i'm not mistaken they have a solar panel so can be charged while out in the field... Quote Link to post
