Guest Frank
A breeder of lurcher pups i visited yesterday evening, feeds cheese, as a suplement to his pups? They seem fine on it, as a part of their deit, apparently, good calcium? He gets it in bulk and freezes it. Any experinces with cheese? Thanks, Frank.

Eggy 0
My dog loves a bit of cheese now and then. But as part of a diet for pups??? Cheese contains a LOT of salt, and stresses developing kidneys....What would be the result of excess salt later in life?????? Maybe saltless (cottage) cheese would be better Cheers Eggy Edited April 26, 2007 by Eggy
