vduben 55
ive got 3-1 x 1.5 runs in 5cm bar pannels, pressed concrete ridge roof, it fits in the corner of my garden and 2 sides are covered by the fence which helps with the wind and the other end i covered myself with ridged clear plastic to also stop rain and wind, and i have boxes inside that sit a good foot of the floor and are filled with old clothes etc with a hole cut out facing the back of the kennel so there is no draft, no need for daft straw that blocks up the drain Quote Link to post

ferretyjack 0
Its a good idea to have concrete and wooden sleeping boxes, i made the mistake of having wooden floors n walls, even varnished em but they get messy if dogs are pooin n pissin all the time. Quote Link to post
big yin 3
a little friendly advice for anyone putting tin on there kennel roofs, make a timber frame as normal then clad it with plywood then put breather paper on top off ply , then fit tin on top, the breather paper isnt cheap but will 100% stop condinsation Quote Link to post
