Irish Lurcher 1,013
Fished a lake yeasterday and ended up with four pike for the day. Strange thing was that the first pike that I landed was a low double and had only one eye and a section of its tail missing, after it release I stuck on another roach and wacked it back out. I sat for no more then five minutes in my chair when I got my second run, The same pike had taken my second bait, just wondering if any of you have had recaptures in such a short space of time. ianh 83
not that quick or even same day, sound like testament to your handling and release skills if the fish is straight back on the feed, id imagine they would lay up and go off the feed after capture in the past. on a side note i caught the same carp four times last year out of our syndicate lake, was only caught one other time all year by one guy, must like me i guess, lol. MUDD 374
There's a place we go to and have caught the same fish over again not on the same day but on different occasions. Each have distinctive markings and are easily recognisable. Makes us wonder that there is not that many pike in that lake. Quote Link to post

bobcullen79 1,495
Done it with carp, surface fishing. Just as the stamp of fish was getting bigger, one snapped me off and was towing the controller, tackled up again and caught the same fish the next cast. Quote Link to post
