Won - Rangers the european cup and 5 back to back league titles. Won - Chelseas back 2 back league tiles and champion leagues titles, something no manager as ever done. Got- Made Rotherham a Championship clubs bringing in decent players and built a good rep with the fan base even though I support a rival club. lanesra 3,994 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Share Posted February 9, 2012 I agree with a lot being said about Capello having to stand up for himself ect ect , what i think people are forgetting here is YET AGAIN John Terry has created this , whether he is guilty or not , for the benefit off English football surely even an ARROGANT man like him can see with the type off charges hanging over him he HAD to step down as skipper for Euro's , or he should off had his case heard earlier (oh i footballers can now dictate when there trial happens) or should i say through the normal channels which would off been shortly and if he was found not guilty it wouldnt off got too this , saying that after the Wayne Bridge episode Capelo should off seen what trouble Terry creates wherever he goes and not given him the arm band back , i hope the new manager drops Terry though i doudt it , i dont think it will make a difference as England with or without him wont win the euros , just my opinion . 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Gnash i think we will agree we will always disagree on John Terry situation , yes the F.A. are as you say hypocrites ect , but the 1 Common Denominator in all the Bad Publicity we have seen in the past few yrs HE is at the centre off , i will repeat myself , i watched 4/5 journalists discussing the Wayne Bridge situation and the shocking thing about the interview was how the only shock to them was the fact Capelo made Terry captain given what he brings to the table , 1 said "We where shocked he was made captain knowing the controversity he brings , cant believe no 1 didnt warn him" , and journalist's know FAR MORE than they print so for them too KNOW he wasnt the right man through bad publicity not football matters say's everything too me , and i think in his situation morally for the National Game he should off stepped down until he cleared his name as soon as HE decided he was going to drag this on till after the finals , and i dont think Redknapp will for 1 minute jepodise his DREAM off managing the country for John Terry , the big picture is todays Footballers are so out off touch with reality , the man in the street up till a few yrs ago had something in common with footballers not any more sadly !
