paulus 26
as dan says but it depends on if you actually caught the start date correct, hovever its better to try to early rather than to late. Quote Link to post

Dan Edwards 1,134
I pretty much agree on the 13th day for sure but just dont want the fella to miss it if'n he really wants to do it. Quote Link to post
cocker 2,654
a bitch is ready for mating, usually between the 9th and 14th days from the onset of the heat period. Conception has its best chance between the 11th and 14th days, with the 12th and 13th days considered as the optimum Quote Link to post

sowhat 1,572
There's another way of finding out if she's ready, rub gently inbetween her pin bones and the base of the tail, is she flicks her tail over to one side, she's ready. By the way, how old is your bitch? Quote Link to post

dianet 0
All bitches are different.I usually wait till the bitch's colour goes from red to pale pink. Also the bitches vulva will soften just above the lips.It looks like a small button.Best to look at her at about 8-9 days and keep checking daily thereafter. I find this combination to work well for me Quote Link to post
sowhat 1,572
Play safe, get her mated twice, on the 11th & 13th days our jack as just mated a bitch on 11th/13th day, I say mated, but I actually A I all the bitches that come to be mated, been doing it for 16 yrs now with about a % success rate.
