whats your preference? dog or bitch?

Just wondering what everyone runs and their opinions?

 

i have always ran a bitch as i seem their more loyal and not as head strong.... but since my bitch got killed in august last year i think now is the right time to get another dog.

 

im undecided as to whether to try a dog?

 

whats everyones experiences?

i prefer to run dogs as they are general built a bit stronger than a bitches and you have no hassel with them coming on heat.

thats what im thinking like, only thing whats put me off a bit is my mate has a sal/gry and its ignorant as chuff lol.....

I run dogs and bitches.and to be honest, they are both loyal, and bitches can be just as headstrong as dogs if its in their nature.

The trick is ,to let them know who's boss

Seasons can be a pain but its natures way of letting them rest, imo.

I'll take a good killin gyp over a male dog any day but the problem is where do you find a bitch that can hang with a good male dog. Its almost an impossibility.

I keep both and to be honest none of them are headstrong. Bitches do my head in when their in season, and dogs do my head in pissing on every corner, fence, lampost there is haha. And sniffing when there's been a bitch nocking about. So to me i don't think it really matter's everyone as there own personal prefrence.

males for me, you can work them all year, not like females pain when they break down, when you right in the middle of the hunting season. Regards temps you get soft + hard temps in dogs same as bitches, i think its more of the x than the sex of the dogs
