Thanks Irishman, Nice dog CorkyJohn,I love that Red/Ginger/Bronze(whatever it is?)colour in the Black coloured dogs,the 'Gene' produce's some nice coloured terriers,

The Dam of this one ,has the same coat......Got him started this year.16 months now.

I bred two black coloured dogs,i posted the pictures of them at the time,pups born 4.6 months ago,the Dam had that 'Red' tinge and two out of five came out more 'Liver/DarkBrown' than 'Black', Must be something in it?Anyone got any theories pls? I'll get some pictures up asap.

I'd say all types of Terrier have all colors in them down the line , what goes in will come out !

Seems strange to me how the colour comes out in a complete solid colouring rather than a 'Pied' colouring?

These pups are of the Same Breeding....Red Dog to Black bitch..with the Brown/red undercoat...mostly throws Chocs.

These ones Graduated from brown to black ,in order of the Welp

I'll be having one ... maybe get nearer to getting back to a good black 'n'tan wonder which one I.ve got me eye on
