Sorry i dont believe it one bit. And the main reason why is the bit where the car got damaged. Your telling me your mate was fearful of getting shot by "a mad man" but still decided to damage the boys

So he`s bred 11 litters of those useless waste of skins

can't watch that for two reasons, one cos I can't stand either looking at, or listening to chavs.....but more importantly, I want to stamp Jeremy Kyles face out through the back of his head.

I am almost inclined to give the benefit of the doubt on this, as all you are all really debating is if the police are incompetent. I believe the police are certainly capable of incompetence in instances such as this and far, far worse.

It could also be plausible that some coppers in the darkest countryside are used to shooters and get regular complaints, so they don’t feel compelled to follow procedures and call for help for too. People all remember the times the helicopters get called in for a reason, because it doesn’t happen very often. Who is keeping tabs and telling their mates about all the times the helicopters didn’t show up??

But I don’t think the full honest story has been given. Perhaps (like someone else said) he went in to a field with 4 American bulldogs and one started ragging on some poor old man’s faithful hound. He shouted a warning before firing, then may or may not have threatened the guy who is meant to be controlling the 3 other dogs. The old guy was probably terrified of being attacked himself and if the bulldog owner then damaged his car and kicked off you can’t blame him at all for pointing the gun as a warning because it might have saved him from a kicking.

a copper stoped me in my garden at night i pointed a stick at him he thought it was a gun because it was dark he drove off and called the armed police and i was arested me and turned my house over when a gun is mensioned the armed police come with no problem

I knew a bloke who aimed a spirit level out the window at a mate when he was pissed and had the local ARV turn up within the next 10 minutes! :icon_eek::laugh:

Even the chance of firearms being involved and its automatically armed response.

They were called to a scout camp near me to question about an 'armed man running around the countryside with a rifle' turned out it was a boy scout carrying a bit of braken stalk. And that was 20 years ago way before dunblane, cumbia, raol moat etc
