LUMPHAMMER 324
Try pressing the ''Clutch'' only ''half way'' down then select gear ?
dymented 2,220
the transfer box must be stuck in neutral bud
RossM 8,121
Or the clutch is completely f****d, start it in gear,
irishnut 297
sounds like transfer box in neutral. would't be strange for a landy gearbox to totally crap, but usually give plenty of warning.
hily 379
sounds like transfer box in neutral. would't be strange for a landy gearbox to totally crap, but usually give plenty of warning. if it was cluncking as you pulled away before you got the problem then it is prob the output gear in box splines stripped but check half shafts and hub splines first
Night Hunter 109
has he checked that all the drive shafts are ok and that one isnt broken, this happened to my sons car and on inspection one of the front driveshafts was broken and the stub was just spinning
Clare 33
sounds like transfer box went in mine, dont get ripped off on a whole new gear box though! just drop out the transfer box and replace, takes a few hours and a bit fiddly but we did ours for £

jack lee 137
try looking at front half shafts, could be broke at the ball joint,if it is that just put it in low range,if it drives then you know thats it,if not try looking at slave cylinder rod, could be gone through fork on gearbox,
