Ossie n Arch 1,682
One thing iv'e noticed while getting older is that i feel the cold more. Which is a bummer when you work outside. I also used to fish alot and always took a flask of something hot. I always brought most of it home, nowadays it's drunk very quickly.
gnasher16 30,058
I cant believe some of the replies on here, what a bunch of mincers whingeing about your aches and pains Makes me glad ive had a lifetime of fitness....to look at im in better nick now than i was 30 years ago.......not as strong or fit....hands have been smashed to bits, the ol boatrace looks like its been run over a few times and the back gives a bit of aggro now and then.......but apart from that i feel physically and mentally the same as i always have.....the family are constantly on at me to stop training but i know as soon as i do i,ll become how some of you sound Im a big believer in the mind being the only limitation on fitness.....and i aint ready to be an old man just yet.

sowhat 1,572
Someone I know on here went to the doctors the other week, he was complaining about being unable to open his bowels because his piles was giving him some gyp. After a thorough examination the doctor prescribed some suppositries, and asked to see him in a weeks time. The following week he returned to the doctors, and the doctor asked if the suppositries had helped, he replied" for what fooking good they did me, I may aswell have shoved them up my arse" The moral of this story, is never sit on cold steps lol and always read the instruction leaflet.
