Rake aboot 4,936
Well I`m 44 and feel knackered hahahaha I keep pretty fit with a lot of cycling during the year, but with being busy I`ve not got out much, and I`m paying for it, feel ancient ! lol, be better when I get bak into the miles. Had a back issue for 20 yrs though,, bloody torture,, The best way i`ve found to deal with age issues, is to drink through them !
skycat 6,173
They say life begins at 40, but in reality its a long, slow trudge down hill from there. Nowadays I have to decide which I want to do: go ferreting or lamping: can't do both on the same day any more. It sucks, but at least I still have the use of my two legs: even if they won't go the distance any more: could be worse...........could be in a wheel chair!
paulus 26
had a couple of close calls the other year, mainly caused by excess everything in my younger days, so know i have to take it a lot easier than before.
Nik_B 3,790
I'm only 39 but I find that something is always hurting, and usually when one thing stops another thing starts. Any kind of injury I would have shrugged off years ago now seems to take months to go away. I tripped over the dog about 5 months ago and I still get a bit of a twinge from the sprained wrist I got from that.

Joined a gym at 30, just to keep fit, went on to compete in britains strongest man 105k in 2005, now im lucky if i can drag myself there for a coffee, i keep trying to talk clients into going so i can just go and do some light training without feeling the shame of the lads looking and laughing, keep at it lab, and dont worry too much about your footy career, football is for poofs any way
